In February 2024, the enterprise-level relational DBMS MogDB and the hybrid time-series database Uqbar had officially entered the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Landscape. The CNCF Landscape aims to provide selection references for enterprises building cloud-native systems and a resource map for cloud-native practitioners. It helps enterprises and developers quickly understand the full picture of the cloud-native ecosystem from the hierarchical structure and different functional components of cloud-native systems.

The inclusion of both MogDB and Uqbar in the "App Definition and Development - Database" section of the CNCF Landscape signified that the containerization deployment capabilities and containerized database management capabilities of these two databases, as well as Enmotech's technical accumulation in the container space, had been recognized by the CNCF, establishing them as part of the cloud-native practice ecosystem.

In fact, Enmotech has long been involved in research on containerization. As early as 2020, when openGauss was first open-sourced, Enmotech promptly responded by releasing the container image for openGauss and subsequently played a major role in the community development of openGauss containerization. This initiative not only showcased Enmotech's expertise and capabilities in the field of container technology but also provided strong support for the global promotion and application of openGauss.

Currently, the openGauss container image, continuously developed and maintained by Enmotech, has been downloaded over 750,000 times on Docker Hub. This not only signifies the market popularity of openGauss but also demonstrates that Enmotech's research achievements in containerization technology have gained wide recognition.

The enterprise-level relational DBMS MogDB, built by Enmotech based on the openGauss kernel, is characterized by high reliability, high performance, high compatibility, and high usability. Additionally, it has supported standalone containerized deployment since version 1.0. To meet enterprises' database management needs in a containerized environment, Enmotech developed a containerized database management tool, MogDB Stack, based on MogDB.

MogDB Stack is an automated operation and maintenance system for MogDB clusters on Kubernetes, providing full lifecycle management of MogDB, including deployment, high availability, scaling, monitoring, and backup and recovery. With MogDB Stack, MogDB can run seamlessly on Kubernetes clusters in both public cloud and private deployments, offering enterprises a comprehensive, efficient, and convenient database solution. (For more information about MogDB Stack, please visit https://www.mogdb.io/en/mogdbStack/ )
